# Launch a product on Aback Launch

Aback Launch is a weekly launch platform for startups and indie makers. New products go live every Friday at 00:00 UTC, race for member upvotes through the ISO week, and the top three are recorded as that week's winners.

Every product gets a permanent, server-rendered page with structured data, a Markdown version for AI assistants, and a place in category, tag, alternatives and built-with pages. A real person reviews every free submission.

The link to a founder's website becomes dofollow once our badge is verified on their site, and a weekly check keeps it honest. Paying buys a launch date or visibility, never a dofollow link or a vote, and every ad is marked sponsored.

## What the founder must do themselves

Submitting, paying and voting need a signed-in person at https://abacklaunch.com/submit. Agents can prepare everything, but should not create accounts, sign in or pay on the founder's behalf.

## Prepare the listing

1. Name and tagline. Keep the tagline under 60 characters and saying what it does and for whom. Check it with `check_character_limit` (field `product-hunt-tagline` uses the same 60 limit) or https://abacklaunch.com/tools/tagline-generator.
2. A description: the problem, what the product does, who it is for.
3. Category and tags people browse, and the products it is an alternative to (this puts it on the matching alternatives pages).
4. Logo, screenshots, pricing model and platforms.
5. A link preview that works: check it at https://abacklaunch.com/tools/og-checker.

## How a launch works

- Launches go live on Friday at 00:00 UTC and collect member upvotes until the ISO week closes at the end of Sunday. The top three are recorded at https://abacklaunch.com/winners.
- A free submission is reviewed by a person before it goes live; read https://abacklaunch.com/guidelines first.
- The link to the founder's site becomes dofollow once the Aback Launch badge is on their site (https://abacklaunch.com/badge/how-it-works); a weekly check keeps it honest.
- Paid options buy a launch date or visibility, never a dofollow link or votes. See https://abacklaunch.com/pricing.
