How we measure

  • Every view of a launch page on abacklaunch.com is recorded with its source, read from the referrer. Bots and crawlers are excluded.
  • A view counts as from an AI assistant when the visitor arrived from an assistant's site (chatgpt.com, perplexity.ai, claude.ai, gemini.google.com, copilot.microsoft.com and others).
  • Assistants that open links without a referrer show up as direct traffic, so the AI share is a floor, not a ceiling.
  • We keep analytics for 90 days, so the study always covers the latest 90 days. No single launch's numbers are published.
