Two weeks before

Write one sentence: what it is, who it is for, what it doesEvery listing, post and page starts from it.
Landing page says the same sentence above the fold, with one clear call to action
Title, description and canonical set on every pageCheck with the meta tag checker.
Share card: 1200x630 image, title and descriptionCheck with the social preview checker.
Analytics installed and tested, with UTM links ready for each channel
Pick the platforms that suit your product and note each one's rules and timing
Screenshots, a short demo video and a logo, ready in the sizes each platform asks for

The week before

Submit to directories that need review time, including Aback Launch
Tell the people who already know you: users, waitlist, friends, with the date
Draft the launch posts for each channel, in your own words
Answers ready for the five questions people will ask (pricing, privacy, who it is for, how it compares, what is next)
Sign up and use the product from scratch, on mobile and desktop

Launch day

Check the launch pages are live and link to the right URL
Post on each channel with its tagged link
Reply to every comment and question within the hour
Watch sign-ups and errors; fix what breaks first
Thank the people who shared it

After launch

Add the badges from the platforms that give a dofollow link for it
Write down every piece of feedback and what you will do about it
Note what each channel brought, from your UTM links
Post an update a few weeks later with what changed
Keep your listings current: description, pricing, screenshots

Make the list your own

Not every item fits every product: a developer tool leans on Hacker News and docs, a consumer app on screenshots and social posts. See where to launch to pick platforms, and the other free tools to check your pages before the day.
