How to use the XML to Markdown

  1. 1

    Paste XML

A feed, a sitemap, a config or a data export.

  2. 2

    Read the Markdown

Tables where elements repeat; lists elsewhere.

  3. 3

For docs, notes or an AI prompt.

How XML maps to Markdown

Elements that repeat with the same children (RSS items, sitemap urls) become a table with one column per child. Other elements become nested lists, with attributes shown next to the element name. RSS feeds get a heading per item with its link and date.
