Validate the riskiest part first

Most startups fail for lack of demand, not lack of code. Validation means finding evidence that people have the problem, care enough to pay, and can be reached at a cost that works, before you spend months building.

The scorecard rewards evidence (conversations, pre-orders, a waitlist with real sign-ups) over opinions, and points you at the area with the least evidence, because that is where the next week is best spent.

Questions

What is a good score?

Over 70 means you have evidence in most areas. Under 50 means talk to more customers before building more.

How do I validate without a product?

Customer interviews, a landing page with a clear offer, a waitlist, pre-sales, or doing the job manually for a few customers.

Should I keep my idea secret?

Rarely worth it. Feedback is more valuable than secrecy at the idea stage.

Is my idea saved?

No. Everything stays in your browser.
